Snow Gums
There is no better symbol of the Victorian and NSW high country than the gnarled and twisted Snow Gum (Eucalyptus pauciflora). Having to deal with three or more months of snow, gale force winds and, in recent years, fierce bushfires, these trees exemplify the spirit of perseverance. Below are some of my favourites:
